Archive a channel
1. Click on Admin and then on All Channels followed by View all.
2. Select the channel you want to archive and click State and then Archive. 
Note: When you archive a channel, it is not deleted and users can, therefore, still see the ideas. If you don't want them to see the ideas, hide them. Learn how to hide ideas here.
Unarchive a channel
1. Click on Admin and then on All Channels followed by View all.
2. Click on Show archived in the upper right corner.
3. Select the channels you want to unarchive and then click State and open. 
Note: You can un-archive a channel and still keep it close for the users by clicking on "Close".
