If your company has an SSO solution in place, this can be integrated with the Nosco platform.
Overview
The Nosco platform supports SAML v2.0 for SSO, which is one of the most common SSO standards in the industry.
You can setup the Nosco platform so that it automatically creates new users that login with SSO, or rejects unknown users (new users have to be explicitly added to the platform).
You can mandate that only SSO logins are allowed, or you can also allow a hybrid mode that keeps the option of logging in with email/password (e.g. for external users).
You can create user labels based on SAML attributes.
You can also set up user provisioning with SCIM so that the user list is always up to date.
Depending on your type of SSO, download the following documentation:
Important tips:
- Make sure that you read and follow the guide in detail.
- During the setup, you will need a metadata.xml file that is available under Admin > Platform Settings > Single Sign On.
- Make sure that the person in charge of setting up the SSO has admin rights on your platform.
- Once the integration is up and running, refer to the general setup guide for setting up user label integration.
